Problem: Shoppers want to know how a real garment will look on them before they buy, but generic AI images are not tied to inventory they can actually purchase. Solution: Designed a Search → Choose → Try on → Buy loop that loads real clothing from Shopify catalogs—photo, price, sizes, and the variant URL—then sends the shopper’s photo and product images to Genlook for an about-eight-second try-on preview. Buy opens that same product and size on the brand’s site; payment, shipping, and returns stay with the merchant. The first version focuses on tops, dresses, and jackets, with consent before any photo is sent and try-on limited to adults 18 and older. Outcome: A product spec and Shopify catalog pipeline for a virtual try-on shopper, ready for a commerce-agent checkout later.
